Terms of Service
These terms explain how development services and paid consultation bookings work.

1. Services
Rupak Sapkota provides software development, technical consulting, code review, architecture guidance, and related digital services. The exact scope, deliverables, timing, and price for a project will be agreed in writing before work begins.
2. Consultation bookings and payment
A consultation booking is confirmed only after the payment has been successfully processed and a confirmation has been issued. Prices are shown in the checkout before payment and may include applicable taxes or fees presented by the payment provider.
Payments are processed securely by Paddle. Payment card details are handled by Paddle and are not stored on this website. By completing checkout, you also agree to the applicable Paddle checkout terms.
3. Client responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate contact details, attend scheduled sessions on time, and provide only materials that you have the right to share. You remain responsible for backing up your code, data, and project files.
4. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you retain ownership of materials and information you provide. Upon full payment, project-specific deliverables created for you will be transferred or licensed as agreed for that project. General methods, reusable components, know-how, and open-source materials remain subject to their original rights.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use the services to facilitate unlawful activity, infringe another person's rights, distribute malicious software, or request academic work to be submitted as your own where that would breach an institution's rules. Consultation and guidance are intended to support learning and legitimate development.
6. Availability and liability
Services are provided with reasonable care, but no specific result, uptime, grade, business outcome, or compatibility is guaranteed unless expressly agreed in writing. To the extent permitted by applicable law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
7. Changes and contact
These terms may be updated when the services or legal requirements change. The version published on this page applies to new bookings from its update date. For questions, contact info@rupaksapkota.com.np.
